Elizabeth is a lawyer who currently homeschools her 17-year-old son, Colin, and is a trustee of Galveston’s Wharves Board. Her daughters, Sarah Beth and Rachel, are both alumni of GIST. This is Colin’s 13th year as a GIST swimmer. 

Shane is Vice President of GIST, and a realtor selling Galveston Island homes with Toms Galveston Real Estate.  He has two boys, Davis - 5 years old and Connor - 3 years old, who are currently enrolled in the GIST learn to swim program.

Don Davison is Treasurer of the Galveston Island Swim Team.  He is a Professor of Business Studies for Galveston College.  He has also previously been an adjunct instructor for Texas A&M Galveston.  Both he and his wife have been active with the team for many years.  All three of his sons have enjoyed receiving invaluable swimming instruction from GIST.  One son has participated in numerous swimming tournaments.
